Whether you can't read
a note and only sing by
ear or you're working
on a master's degree
in opera performance,
we want you!

Come sing with us!

Sounds of Indiana is a premier men's chorus located near Indiana University in Bloomington. We are a group of men and women dedicated to preserving and singing a style of music known as barbershop harmony; we are actively seeking folks who enjoly signing. We would welcome singers who want to enjoy the fun, fellowship, and the good feelings generated by close harmony singing. Experience in singing and/or reading music is helpful, but by no means required.
Rehearsals are usually held every Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary at First United Church, 2420 E. Third Street, Bloomington. Enter from the door under the covered walkway by the bell tower.

(We occasionally meet in other locations when the church is unavailable due to special events or maintenance issues with the building. If you have any concerns about finding us on a particular week, please email our address below to confirm!)

Informal Tag Singing is usually held every other Saturday afternoon. Please visit our Facebook page at Facebook.com/SoundsofIndiana.

Guest Sing Out is usually held quarterly at First United Church, 2420 E. Third Street, Bloomington. Please visit our Facebook page at Facebook.com/SoundsofIndiana.

We welcome anyone who wants to contribute to Sounds of Indiana's success, and singing is not required. Volunteers are needed in all facets of show preparation, production, and related activities.
